RANT: My name is not Gum!

So I get an e-mail today at work from someone who called me someone else's name.

I get called this other person's name occasionally in the halls. We're both white, youngish, overweightish (me more) administrative ladies in the same division. We both deal with the entire company a bunch. So I can kind of forgive the confusion. People generally correct themselves right away.

But to type someone's correct name in the address field on an e-mail and then call them someone else's name in the e-mail greeting (i.e. "Hi, So-and-so")..

Well, that's just lame.
