THEORY: Ideal American names.
written on Friday, Apr. 18, 2003

The American names that roll off the tounge best and are the most well-balanced are the names that:

- Are three to five letters long (maybe six)

- Consist of two syllables

For example, take the name "Elizabeth". A perfectly lovely name, but something's not quite right with it. People will almost certainly call her "Lizzy" when she's young, and maybe "Liz" when she's older. Why? Because E-LIZ-A-BETH takes too long to say, and Americans are lazy.
